Troubleshooting methods for digital video cameras

1. Comparison method. Compare the normal equipment with the faulty equipment to find the fault. The test instrument can be used to compare the voltage, current, resistance and waveform of the relevant test points, and the exact fault point can be found quickly.

2. Replacement method. Replacing suspicious parts on faulty equipment with parts on normal equipment can quickly find faults. This method is often used for circuit boards or connectors that can be easily replaced.

3. Divide method. When searching, a split test point is selected to divide the fault range into two parts, and the test point is used to determine which part of the fault range is in. Then select a split test point from the determined fault range, further divide the fault range into two parts, and then further determine the fault range through this test point, and so on, the fault range is rapidly reduced, and the fault point can be quickly found .

4. Open circuit and short circuit method. When searching for short-circuit faults, the open-circuit method is often used, which often results in a multiplier effect. It should be noted that the open-circuit and short-circuit method is not suitable for certain circuits, such as power circuits and high-voltage circuits that cannot be short-circuited.

5. Human body induction method. It is a common method to use the human body, the most convenient source of noise signal, to inject noise signal into the test point when troubleshooting. This method has the characteristics of simplicity and speed, but attention must be paid to safety to prevent accidental contact with high-voltage points.
